.. These handpainted circle skirts from Mexico are always in demand, but this one in particular caught my eye. Of course, the vivid hand painting, and hand applied sequins are very pretty, but what I love are the jugs, pitchers and cups all around. Most of the vessels have a woman's name written... Lola, Anita, Paula, Amine, Eva, Lupita, Julita, Mariquita, Margarita.... Sooooo sweet. The garlands around the hem and waist are really cool... they remind me of pot leaves and passion flowers.
..The skirt has a label that reads Hand Painted Guaranteed Washable ARTGREEN Hecho en Mexico. The waist can be adjusted a bit from the measurements below, as the hooks can be moved and the ties can make adjustments as well.
