.. This evening ensemble is a knockout. I am a huge fan of Estevez... from his slinky, almost campy, ready to wear Gabor line, to the finest of couture, Estevez had a dress for any occasion.
This is one of the finest examples of Estevez evening wear I have ever had the pleasure to explore. The top is very much like the sequin animal prints Halston was selling.. but this one is a bit more over the top then the Halstons. The designs are very similar, but BAM! Check out the color! The sequins are two shades of turquoise, a bit of white, and jet black for contrast. Then add to it little patches of silver bugle beads here and there, and you have yourself a really special top. The lining is a silk crepe, the sequins are sewn onto a rayon backing.
..The skirt is equally amazing. Long and slinky, impeccably tailored, with a 18" slit up the back. The fabric is luscious silk taffeta, fully lined in silk as well.
