..This dress is a knockout! Designed by Luis Estevez (Cuban born, Coty Award winner, studied under Patou, settled in California in the 1960s, absolutely fabulous designer).
..The fabric is a rich, silk satin, printed with a gorgeous, Indian inspired paisley print. The artiness are so warm and wonderful, giving this dress a stunning, exotic look. The more Estevez pieces I encounter, the more I come to regard him as one of the great American designers of the 1960s & 1970s. His ability to mix whimsy and couture will never cease to amaze, and amuse me.
