.. When I found this dress I wasn't at all familiar with the designer. After all, the label is hand printed in Hebrew. After translating and a little sleuthing I discovered it was made by Ronen Raz, and Israeli designer, now the head of the fashion department at the Avni school of Art & the former head of the Ascola school fashion department, both in Tel Aviv.

.. This dress is really quite something! It is entirely hand made, even the printed velvet seems to have been hand printed. The dress brings to mind the prints of Fortuny and the sexy style of a young Gianni Versace. The bodice has a bustier built in the lining. Its a body hugging, sexy style with an ultra high silt up the right leg. It is a smashing, head turning dress.
