| .. 1930s Modernist Devore Velvet Tunic | |||
| .. They just don't make fabric like this anymore, and the ones that come close to the look and feel will cost a fortune. This is genuine silk devore velvet. The tufts of teal velvet remain on a sheer background. I love the whimsical circle pattern, it is very unique, brining to mind the modernist movement that was just burgeoning at the time this was made. .. It is a simple, over the head tunic style with no closures except for tiny snaps at the wrists, and deep side slits. It is unlined and very sheer.
