| .. This gown is quintessential Yves. As soon as I saw it I knew it was his. .. The bodice is rich velvet, the sleeves and skirting are devore silk, sheer black with tufts of black velvet and gold eyelash in a floral pattern. Note that the skirt is sheer to the solid black velvet, about mid hip. I spotted a similar dress shown in his 1978 runway collection where the model was wearing a skin color panty . If you are not as daring as a runway model, perhaps wearing this dress with a pair of leggins, or a slip would be best. The sleeves are also sheer, I love how they set low on the shoulders leaving such a dramatic neckline.
