.. 1940s Red Branch Coral Necklace

.. I am not sure if I can call this "Oxblood" coral . Some pieces are definitely, some are a bit lighter red, but the overall effect is the rich, red oxblood color. The previous owner thought it dated to the 1940s, and judging from the cone clasp I am inclined to agree.
..There is 20" of coral. The cones and hook clasps are 1 1/2" each end for a total of 23" end to end. The longest branch is about 2". The coral is beaded with silver wire. I believe the cones to be sterling silver, they remind me of the kind of findings used by Native American's.
