.. This is such a sweet little set in perfect condition, like it is brand new. The jacket still has a little tag attached so I believe this set was never worn. It is all silk, organza over taffeta. There are no labels except for the Union label at the hem.

.. The bodice has stays in the front. The organza is beautifully pleated. The straps are velvet and crochet trim. The skirt is 2 layers of white organza edges with the velvet/crochet trim and a band of black organza. The skirting is quite full and so very beautiful. The dress closes up the back with a metal zipper.

.. The dress comes with a matching silk organza jacket. The jacket is a simple cut, ample enough to cover the big skirt of the dress. There are no closures on the jacket.
