..I am guessing this was created for Tom Fords final YSL collection where he paid homage to Yves 1977 Opium collection.
.. This bracelet is sterling sliver, HUGE, HEAVY and HOT! It weighs a whopping 280 grams (10 oz), most of that is silver weight. The stone in the center is a fossilized ammonite cabochon that measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The sliver work is rough and primitive looking though it is obviously made by skilled Italian craftsmen. The bracelet is cast sterling, it is stamped YSL, Made in Italy, 925 in a oval, and 1564 MI which is probably a serial number.. obviously this is a couture piece.

..The bracelet measures 3" high and 2 2/4" deep. The inner wrist measurements are 2 1/2" wide and 2" deep. It will fit a larger wrist or a thin upper arm. The silver is thick and heavy so it cannot be adjusted by hand,but could be made smaller by a jeweler or silversmith. |
