.. This is a divine little wrap. The body of it is made from etherial lace like nothing I have ever seen. Scroll down to the last photo and you will see what I am talking about, notice how open the lace is for the background, and how fine it gets for the pattern. The central portion is backed by silk chiffon, then additional chiffon finishes the ends. The sequin trim is so pretty. Each little blosom has 3 or 4 shades of color.

.. I am amazed at the qulity of this piece, it has all the hallmarks for French couture. The central chiffon has overcast stitching along the edges. The trailing chiffon edges were hand piqued, and where it is attached to the lace it has a very fine crochet box stitch. I imagine this lovely piece accompanied an evening gown, but has since found a life on its own.
