.. This dress is just stunning! I am guessing it is from either 1985 or 86 when Yves was playing with variations of this half wrap style. Its made of luscious silk, printed to look like batik, with gorgeous flowers and matching butterflies. The colors are stunning... purple, red, gold and green on a black on while background.

.. The style of the dress is very chic. The broad shoulders are accented with removable shoulder pads. The bodice is a wrap style. It is attached to the skirting at the back and sides, but the front crosses over itself then ties around the waist with long sashes on each end. The skirt is beautifully fitted to flatter any figure. There is a hidden side metal zipper for a perfect fit, and even hip pockets. The bodice is unlined, the skirting is lined in white silk.
