.. This is such a wonderful garment, soft, cuddly and warm. There are no labels, but I am sure it is cotton velour. I love the dye job, not an obnoxious swril, but rather an organic, marble like effect. I know dying this much fabric, and having it come out this beautiful is not easy work. Only the very most skilled dyers can achieve such a striking effect.
.. Beyond the amazing fabric, the cut of the piece is quite striking as well. It falls like a cape, but check out how the edges turn into sleeves. The only closure is a long scarf like tie around the neck. Its such a striking and unique piece.
