.. This is a lovely ensemble made up of a skirt and jacket. Both pieces feature a wonderful floral lace. I can't say if the lace was made in Ireland... generally her clothing was made from Irish textiles, but this lace seems more like French Chantilly lace to me. It is a lovely textile of very fine craft and quality, probably machine made.

.. The jacket is lined in pale robin's egg blue, then a layer of silk chiffon. It has hook closures up the front, and weights sewn along the bottom. The skirt has a layer of black tulle and a linng of black silk, a wide, interior petersham ribbon waistband that closes with hooks, and a hidden metal zipper.
