.. This dress is so adorable. It is made of wonderful French Blue silk with the GRES logo woven right in. Blue plastic buttons close up the front to the nehru collar. The waist is beautifully gathered, finished off with a matching tie belt. The most striking aspect of the dress is the dramatically draped back. You know Madam Gres was all about the drape... see how the back of the shoulders is a bit wider than the front, that gives it an almost cape-like flow to the sweet gathers at the waist.
.. Best of all, this amazing dress was never worn, and still has its Gres Boutique hang tag. What an amazing vintage find!
