..Karl Lagerfeld is fashion's great chameleon. Give him a setting and he will create the perfect garment to be worn in it. His work with Chloe produced soft, flowing feminine looks, his work with Chanel is mainly variations on the classic Chanel looks, but the pieces I find the most interesting are the ones he creates for his own label. This is a shining example of a signature Lagerfeld look. It is strong, severe, and kind of naughty.

.. The 2 piece suit is made from luxurious black wool, both pieces are lined in black silk. The buttons, belts and trim (even on the shoulder and cuffs) on the jacket are shiny, black patent leather. I just love that he even added little belts on the wrists. Its kind of kinky, but not at all trashy. The skirt is a simple pencil style that is so beautifully made, it could be worn with a simple white blouse and you would look amazing.
