.. Yves' 1976 Russian collection was very famous and widely distributed, with many variations of a Russian cossack jacket. I see them mostly in black or red wool, but this is the first one in teal mohair I have ever had the privilege to get my hand on. It is exquisite, with burgundy and olive green braided trim and those incredible shell fluted buttons (an extra button is still sewn to the hem). It is a woven mohair, fairly thick and very warm piece, lined in deep jade satin.
