.. Adolfo: 1960s Knit Dress

.. Now this is what I call an Adolfo. It always puzzled me how a Cuban born designer could design such blaze items as the knit suits he produced in the 70s & 80s, which is 90% of Adolfo you will find. However, the 10% of Adolfo, if you are lucky to find it, sizzles! This ultra sexy dress is a prime example of an Adolfo hottie!

.. It is made from a ribbed knit, I believe it is wool. It is not a super tight knit, so it is semi-opaque. To make it even more sexy the neckline is wickedly low, with an even lower keyhole that nearly reaches the navel. If you were really worried about showing off so much chest, you could raise the stitching that now holds the neckline closed up a few inches, or leave the first stitches and wear a broach a little higher between the two sides. Personally, I love it just the way it is. It is an elegant and sexy dress.
