Soon she began designing and in the 1960s and 70s she was designing fun, colorful dresses for modern girls and women. In the 1980s her eyes started to fail her, so she decided to make her own glasses, and her optical designs proved to be a sensation.

.. These divine shades were handmade in France. When you look at the frames from the side you see they are made from 3 layers of plastic, 2 clear purple and a translucent periwinkle in the center. This sandwiching of the materials gives the frames a fabulous "glow". The lenses are gradient, brown to clear. I am not sure if they are UV protected.
