.. Gaultier lunched his Fragile fragrance in 1999, so I am guessing this dress was produced the same year. The fabric is nylon with elastin. It is silky, stretchy, shiny and sheer. The red lettering is heat printed to the fabric. FRAGILE and arrows that read HAUTE and BAS adorn the ensemble. Just stick on some postage and you are good to go.

.. The top is one shoulder, one arm, closed only on one side. The other side is all open, with a tie at the waist. The skirt is just a straight tube and it can also be worn as a tube dress. There is no waistband. Both pieces have the trademark loop on the back. All edges are unfinished, but the fabric doesn't seem to be prone to fray.
