.. Never heard of Michael Casey?? Perhaps its because he produced only couture, in very small amounts. Casey pieces were distributed to high end retailers like Bergdorf and Saks, and they would sell out the few pieces they were lucky enough to get immediately. A Casey collector I met told me women from all over the world would come to San Francisco to be sure they could get their gown from Michael Casey.

.. When Casey closed his fashion house a few years ago, several of his pieces showed up in a local consignment shop. I bought as many as I could afford, and sold most right away. This one I found to be particularly fabulous.

.. This adorable set hints of the 1950s sex kitten look, but the high waist and Madonna style bustier top is all 1990s. The fabric I believe is silk lame, the leopard pattern is woven, not printed. The pants and bustier are lined. The bustier closes with a long zipper that extends past the top to be tucked into the pants. The bustier is, of course, fully boned. The pants zip closed.  There are sweet little slits up the back of the calfs. Casey aligned the fabric perfectly to slim and accentuate the female figure.  This is a hot little set.
