.. Gene Berk for GB3: 1970s Flora & Fauna Dress

.. Gene Berk's Paganne line is more commonly known than his GB3. I know little about the GB3 label, but just comparing it to Paganne, I would say GB3 was more about daywear, where Paganne was more evening inclined.

This adorable dress is made from nyesta, a very hot fabric in the early 70s. It's softer and lighter than the Paganne fabrics. It is almost silky in feel, and is very easy to wear. Its even machine washable, but I would do it by hand just to be safe.

The shirt has a single button at the neck, a sweet pointed collar, and a matching belt tie. Best of all is the print. How adorable are these characters on a background of green grass and leaves. We have a buck, bunny, stork, squirrel and bird lounging on a park bench. The bunny and buck have their legs crossed, casual as can be. Pink butterflies dot the canvas for a little extra color here and there. Its out of control cute!

condition: Very Good, with not a single flaw to mention.
