.. Richilene was a very exclusive couture house in New York that sold in the smaller, high end boutique shops like Martha and Elizabeth Arden. Most Richilene pieces I find are exquisite. This one is phenomenal.

.. The fabric is silk velvet burned out in a giant feather pattern. Sometimes the fabric appears mauve, other times it seems nearly lilac. It is really quite stunning. The dress is fully lined in silk.

.. The empire waist and the deep v-neck is striking. The long slim skirt has 25" slits up both sides.
