..This dress is 100% cotton, made in Italy. The print is just wonderful with flowers, cherries and berries. (Im sure you know, Bessi was a former fabric designer for Pucci in the 1960s) The bodice is composed of panels of fabric so the pattern begins and ends in abrupt lines, creating an even more uncommon effect in the print. The contrast with the jet black jersey of the trim and skirting is quite striking as well. I really adore the pixie like points into the skirt. The skirt is also paneled, so there is a dramatic flair. The little tie belt is made from matching fabric, and is finished with Bessi etched hardware and a chain metal fringe.
