..The little black dress has been a must have in every woman's wardrobe since Mademoiselle Chanel introduced hers in the late 1920s. They come in all shapes and styles, but occasionally I find a l.b.d. that just rocks my world. This little gem is one such dress!

.. There are no tags or labels, but I am sure the dress is silk, lined in rayon. It is beautifully styled with a princess seamed bodice, a slightly pleated and pintucked skirt, and a hidden side zipper. It would be a classic late 50s l.b.d except for the daring and sexy slash detail at the neck. It was amazingly executed by a top couturier so it falls perfectly across the neck and back. There is a little string at the shoulder to keep the pieces in place. It is a smashing piece.
