..OMO, On My Own... In 1978 it wasn't as easy to break from a marriage and a well know business as it is now. Naming her first solo venture without Eddie Kamali OMO was quite a testament to Norma's independence and belief in her own talent. Quite an inspiration... yes?
.. I always say good design is always in style, and this ensemble is a prime example of that fact. The fabric of both pieces is 42% Cotton, 42% Poly and 16% lycra. The color is a soft black with just a hint of gray. The fabric is smooth and stretchy, forming to the body perfectly.
.. The dress is a classic, one shoulder goddess style, but Norma added a bit of sculptural intrigue by cutting into the shoulder strap just a bit to create that wonderful curve. The body of the dress is cut to a woman's body for a perfect and flattering fit.
..The little bolero jacket is the perfect complement to this wonderful dress. The curves imitate the curve of the shoulder strap, and the curve of the figure. The sleeves are extra long for a high glam look.
