.. Most Beene couture I find is special, but this rare beauty could be the most wonderful Beene I have ever seen.

The fabric is a light as air silk brocade of cream and gold. There are two patterns, one is striped, the other is a leafy, paisley pattern. The back of the dress is the leafy, the front is striped, then a panel of the leafy is attached to the bodice , falling down the front covering the stripes to just above the hem. This panel is attached only to just below the hip, then it is open along the side so the stripes show when you move. The sleeves are also the stripes, and they are adorned with little hand made flowers with prong set rhinestones in the center.

The dress is lovely worn plain as a tunic, but when you tie the amazing lame' and silk belt, it transforms into a masterpiece. The belt is very long, made to be wrapped around the body like a Japaneese Obi. The whole outfit is just spectacular.
