.. This is another perfect example of Karl Lagerfeld's innovation in fashion. He took the classic Coco Chanel jacket, and presented it in rich, luxurious... terry cloth! Yes my friends, I said terry cloth. A fabric once reserved for towels and hotel bath robes, now fashioned into haute couture, with a silk lining and even the classic Chanel gold chain at the hem.

The cut of the jacket is wonderful, perfectly tailored to be a bit boxy, yet quite lean looking. This is the jacket Chanel made famous in the 50s and 60s. The bright white (terry cloth ) and the jet black (terry cloth) trim, and the bold, in your face CC logo that just can't be ignored. The jacket closes with small hooks that are hidden when closed. The pockets are lined in silk.. the silk is embossed with the CC logo too. This is a very special jacket indeed.
