.. Leonard Paris: 1960s silk print fuzzy long vest

.. When I found this amazing coat, I was astounded. Clearly, the green faux fur was original to the garment, but never before have I encountered something like this. It was like the muppets went haute couture. Perhaps this was a couture piece, or maybe it was a runway item. It certainly is quite a wonderful thing.

.. The outer garment is the fabulous Leonard silk jersey. The print is glorious, with definite Asian influences, and bright vivid colors. The Leonard Paris signature in the print is actually in script, not the block print you see in more modern Leonards. The "fur" is incredible. It is an incredible emerald green that has a really amazing luster. The pile is very long. The fur along the edges was "matted" a little to create the boa like effect. The fur in the interior is more smooth.

..This came with a matching dress.  I really debated selling them as a set, or separate, as I really think it is important to keep things together. I decided to split them, so my customers have a choice. To see the dress click here.
