.. This is a seriously fabulous dress!! While was off mimicking the 1940s, Janice was creating some truly unique designs. This is a glowing example of her artistic vision.

.. The fabric is a semi-sheer rayon crepe.  Those scrumptious burgundy circles are shiny, soft rayon velvet. The feel of the dress is slinky, sexy and sultry.

..  The sleeves are voluminous, then taper to the wrist. The drawstring waist is completely adjustable, so you can wear it as a straight collum gown or synch it up for a blousey top, slim skirt look. The line of velvet dots up the left leg attaches to the rest of the skirt with little gathers thus creating the asymmetric look of the hem. The plunging neckline down the back puts this dress up there with the top couture of the day.
