.. Its always sad to me when I find a dress of this caliber without a label. It is obviously couture, and of the finest quality, but we will never know who was responsible for such a fine piece of fashion. Every edge of fabric was hand finished! Just amazing! The dress seems almost architectural in terms of design. There are very distinct corners, and that dramatic arrow at the tummy is incredibly sharp and precise. There are even little hip pads to give that dramatic Dior silhouette. There is a small kickpleat in the back, with a bit of backup fabric behind it.

.. The fabric is silk taffeta in gunmetal gray. The bodice has squiggles of cut glass beads, with large faceted stud type beads placed here and there. The back zips up with a metal Prentice zipper.
