Bonnie Cashin was the
queen of casual fashions. In a time when comfort was often ignored,
Cashin produced styles that were the height of style, but also
let the wearer relax.
This is a very early piece, designed for Sills, is a perfect example of pure Cashin style. The color is a bit more brown that the photos show. It is a very warm and luxurious shade. The suede is butter soft, with very little sign of wear. The whole dress is lined in silk. There are five faux abalone snaps going up the back. The condition is very good.
condition: very good, no slight dye bleed only on the lining.
