..This dress is the best La Mendola I have come across to date. The dress is a divine silk jersey, printed in shades of gray and gray blue and black. The dress is a long sheath style, with a fine metal zipper down the back. There are also small silk covered buttons all the way down the back that are purely decorative save for four at the very top of the neck.
..To accompany this divine dress is a matching silk chiffon piece that can be worn over the shoulders as a cape (second set of pictures), or can be tied around the waist for a double skirt look (first set of pictures). You could actually wear it as a cape to the event, then tie it around the waist for the rest of the evening. It is made of two gracious panels of chiffon attached to a long chiffon belt. The hem of the chiffon is machine rolled very tight to give it a bit of stiffness, and the sides are hand rolled for a more gentle effect.
