| .. 1960s Chenille Jacket | |||
|
..This jacket is a beauty. The fabric is just luscious. It is so much more than the average tapestry coat from the period. The velvety zig-zag bands of fluffy fibers feel like silk, and I do think it could be silk, or a very high quality cotton. As you can see, the colors are rich and warm in shades of red, orange, brown, gold and green against a jet black cotton background. .. Aside from the amazing fabric, it is lined in silky acetate, and it is an extremely well made garment. It is a simple, elegant cut, with no pockets and no closures. It is a warm, substantial jacket.
