..This is the kind of outfit that made Versace the legend he is today. This outfit is the perfect blend of elegance, grace, fun, not to mention that it is sooooo sexy.
.. The skirt is made of a slinky black and gold lame'. It is light like silk, probably manmade as it is mostly metallic threads. The gold actually shows as tiny dots on the black background. The top, gathered portion of the skirt is lined in black and it zips up the side. The bottom portion of the skirt is composed of two pleated panels that are open all the way up to the top portion. The panels overlap a bit so you only show leg when you are walking, or ultimately, dancing. There is a bit of a flounce coming out of the gathers that hangs gracefully over the left hip.
..The jacket is done in a rich, black cotton velvet, with satin piping around down the edge of the front. The jacket secures with one faceted "jet" button, and the whole is lined in a silky black material. There are shoulder pads in the lining as well.
