| .. Missoni: 1980s Blooming Cocoon Coat | |||
|
..Putting this coat on your body is like wrapping yourself in a work of art. I can't think of any outerwear more stylish than a good, vintage, Missoni coat. .. The yarn used is a wool/alpaca/mohair and nylon blend. The colors are heathered gray, vivid purple, brick red, ultra violet, and emerald green. The knit is heavy, but not bulky, and feels like a warm hug on the body. The coat crossover closes with one big, green button on the left shoulder, and a little green button on the inside right shoulder. There are two, deep side pockets to keep your hands warm as well. .. I would call the style a "Cocoon Coat", but with the big roses in the pattern, I am calling it a Bloomin' Cocoon Coat.
